#55: 10 o'clock

There are so many things to say and write and so many photos to sort and upload but I just don't know where to start from. It's like I have everything planned at the back of my head but it's all jumbled up and in a mess and I need a rrrrrreally long time to organize everything which even if I have, I might not have the stamina to go through everything in detail because I am the world's laziest monster.

Hong Kong Disneyland Day 0:

It all began in April/May when my cousin (and her husband and eldest son) and sister and I casually mentioned going to Hong Kong together since she's having her maternity leave and somehow without much coercing everything just fell in place so by the end of May, we already had the plane tickets booked. Then by end June/mid July we made hotel reservations and planned our itinerary because there were just too many places we want/need to visit and so many things we wish to do.

Hong Kong Disneyland Day 1:

Having been to Hong Kong for the 4th time this year, I conclude that the best time to arrive is before noon and the best time to depart is before 8am. I absolutely can't stand the large crowd of people flooding the immigration section and that is when I wish I had teleportation skills so that I can just zoom and be gone from everyone.

And I still prefer the Boeing aircraft to the Airbus because I really think the legroom is a lot bigger and the seats are more comfortable.

Plus, as much as I love the window seats, it is so much of a trouble going to the toilet because the person sitting at the aisle has to get up to let me through and the thought of it makes me so sick because I feel extremely indebted to that person because he has to go through so much just to let me pee. But I really love window seats. And if I had the money I definitely would book either the Business or First Class so that I can visit the toilet as freely and as many times as I want without having to worry so much.

If only I had so much money. Money solves everything. Money is THE key to ANY lock you can ever find in this world.

Sorry I digressed so much.

Anyway throughout the 4-hour flight I had to control my drinking of water because whenever there's air-con my pee generates 400x faster than usual.

After landing we reckoned that the weather might not be in our favor to visit the Giant Buddha so we headed to our hotel instead and had dinner (bless me, 6pm is way too early for dinner) before finding our way to some 3D Museum where the One Piece exhibits were at (!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

I love One Piece as much as I love Stitch as much as I love Big Bang as much as I love Disney as much as I love Thor as much as I love me and my family and my pillow and my toy cow.

We spent a good 1.5 - 2 hours at the museum and roamed the streets of Temple Street before going back to our hotel. By then I was already dead tired and the thought of showering made me slap myself 600 times because I really had no more energy to do anything except sleep.

Some stills from Day 1:

001: The sky never fails to amaze me with its extraordinary beauty.

002: Just a Barney my nephew brought along for the trip which was never seen again after this picture was taken.

003: Luffy is one of the many princes I dream were my princes.

004: I don't even know how I got so into One Piece but I'm thankful I did.

005: How can a boy look so charming even with his face pulled I mean I look like a frog without even doing anything.

006: I remember bawling my eyes out while watching this scene and it was during the break after Prelim 2 ended last year and I just wrecked my own life like WHAT THE HELL ACE BLOODY DIED A BLOODY DEATH IN THE BLOODY ARMS OF LUFFY AND I JUST CAN'T BLOODY STOP CRYING MY NOSE WAS BLOODY BLOCKED FOR SO MANY HOURS I HAD TO BLOODY BREATHE THROUGH MY MOUTH.

007: I had to hide under a blanket while sniffing because I was afraid my sister would judge me for being such a frail girl crying over a fictional death scene BUT IT FELT SO REAL HOLY SHIT I CAN NEVER FORGET THAT MOMENT.

008: How can I ever stop loving One Piece I dunno it has unconsciously become part of my life I wish I had earlier.

009: Between Luffy, Zoro, Law and Corazon I can't really decide which is my favorite but here's what I think is perfect: Luffy as a best friend; Zoro as an older brother; Law as a lover and Corazon as a twin brother.

010: If anything, THIS should be whatever people call "squad goals". Your so-called "squad goals" will never be as squad as this squad is.

011: Just stealing a kiss and feelin' so proud afterward.

And this pretty much sums up the highlights of my first day of my first ever Disneyland trip. Although the days were undeniably short but I believe I had a really great time and I would relive every single moment if possible.
